The 2011 Angel Ball proved to be a triumphant event, raising $3.3 million for cancer research. The evening, hosted by Entertainment Tonight's Samantha Harris, featured heart touching performances by Patti Labelle, "The Voice" winner Javier Colon and a night closing dance party with Nile Rodgers & CHIC. The charity event that supports Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for cancer research honored four individuals for their generous contributions towards cancer research: Capital Group founder Vladislav Doronin, Supermodel Naomi Cambpell, artist Romero Britto and Qatar National Cancer Society founder Dr. Khalid Bin Jabor Al-Thani.

The celebrities stepped out in full force to show support towards the Angel Ball's cause. Guests included: Estelle, Clive Davis, Natalie Cole, Kim Kardashian, LaLa Anthony, Russel Simmons, Eve, Stephen Baldwin, Tommy Hilfiger and many more. Keeping the crowd moving in an effortless fashion was native New Yorker and iconic party starter, DJ Cassidy.

Denise Rich and her family founded Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research in 1996. The Foundation funds medical research for prevention and treatment of Lymphoma, Leukemia and related cancers.
