JP Rende

Songwriter/Producer JP Rende has always had an ear for pop music. Growing up in lower Westchester NY, JP got his start in the local band circuit playing gigs and opening shows at age 16. Proficient in guitar and trombone, JP enrolled in SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Music as a Studio Composition Major. JP excelled at his studies and graduated 1 year early Cum Laude. During school, JP was introduced to songwriting producing team Sturken & Rodgers (Britney Spears, Rhianna, N’sync, Kelly Clarkson) and decided to take a chance and pursue a songwriting career of his own.

Singed to 785 Publishing in 2006, JP has been noticed around the industry for his ability to both write and produce great songs. “It has been a great honor to be given the opportunity to work under and learn from the great Denise Rich, she has been such a blessing to me and my career,” says JP.

JP’s growth as a songwriter has continued creating buzz throughout the music industry, landing him vocal production work on Walt Disney’s Tinker Bell movie soundtrack, as well as production and music arrangement for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.  In addition, he is currently contributing his talents as a songwriter and producer to Sesame Street, Elmo’s World, and Fisher Price. With limited downtime, JP stays busy developing new talent for his company Four40 Entertainment Group.
